A new gathering in Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can news european parliament reduce prejudice.
During the event, participants considered themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
